The first site I looked at said we are 1% and rare, the 2nd site said we are 2%, now I see in our room here that we are 3%.

I for one refuse to be a percentage.

Well, I like the idea that we would be 1% because it would make me feel special..hehe

There's a site, I think it's here, that explains why ANY reported statistic of MBTI types is not really indicative of anything. The reasoning (if it actually isn't on that site or is kind of hard to find) is that they pull the statistics from some official registry for MBTI test scores. The entries in this registry are just people who have taken that official test (that is to say, not a good sample, statistically speaking), and they also cannot be corrected or changed. So if, for example, you are overwhelmingly ISTP but the only time you took that test you showed up as being INTJ, you would be considered INTJ by the official statistics.

Been a few months since I cruised the site, but that's about the gist of it.

Hello, all,

I don't know what percent your guys are, but does anyone know what percent a 100% intuitive would be? Moi, I am such, and it is my blessing and my curse, for all my life I have "known" things agout people without having an inkling how I knew them. Still don't---it's not body language, though that is part of it, and it's not eyes, though they ARE easy to read. But when I don't see eyes or see body language signals, e.g. in a phone conversation, I still "read people." Example: two days ago I was on the phone with a Los Angeles attorney, and I told him that he was an INFJ. He was! I'm not sure about my abilities on the internet---I've been blogging only a few days---but so far if I get a "real" exchange to going I develop a real "sense" of the person. Still testing---and looking for like minds! Aren't we all???????
